What is Lagree Fitness?

Lagree fitness is the only workout that effectively combines Strength, Endurance, Cardio, Core, Body Stability and Flexibility in every class. It is high intensity, low impact resistance training targeting the slow twitch muscles of the legs, arms, obliques and core to give you a full body workout. Every move is performed slowly and against constant tension which activates your metabolism, burns fat and calories. At an urban lagree class you will be shaking and sweating as you build long lean and toned muscles.

What is a Megaformer?

Since its introduction into the fitness world the megaformer has been a state of the art tool for body sculpting and improving dynamic fitness. Urban Lagree classes are instructed on the M3S, a 5th generation Megaformer, loaded with 8 springs to add tension for light and heavy exercises. The resistance springs can be adjusted to suit your fitness level, that is why anyone can take a class and walk away feeling like they got a challenging workout tailored to them.

What are the RAMPs?

The RAMP technology allows your instructor to set the Megaformer to a different incline level during your workout. As you slowly work against the additional resistance of your own body weight the intensity of the movement increases. The angle of the RAMP doesn’t just make it harder but it is better for your body. By changing the angle of the exercise you will recruit different muscle groups, reducing repeat stress on your joints and connective tissue. This is why we love the RAMP’s and why we think you will too.
